I'm Brian and have been the General Manager of the community for over 8 years. It is a privilege to work with such a great group of seniors and a wonderful, caring staff. A couple of years ago, our community was acquired by Ray Stone Inc. I went from one family owned business to another, and love that both parties guide their business by always wanting and striving to do the right thing. I have been married over 34 years, have 3 great kids and two grandchildren. -

Well hello, my name is Roz and I feel lucky to be part of this company. I have worked here for over 4 years, first with River Oaks and now Ray Stone Incorporated. I am the Resident Relations and I try to be the liaison between all the departments, helping where they need it while taking care of my duties. Being here for all our residents, hearing their stories and getting to know their family is always interesting. I enjoy my job and it never feels like work. I feel honored to be part of a great team. I am a widow and I have 4 children and 10 grandchildren. My hobbies are turning trash to treasure, working with wood and painting projects. And most of all, just being with my family! -

Hello, I’m Shelisa, the Chef at River Commons. I have worked in the restaurant industry for the last 8 years. My passion for food began as a child, when every Sunday I would spend the day with my grandparents and they would always have something fun for us to cook. Pizza was my favorite. Karate chopping olives and frisbee throwing peperoni! And Grandma was always there to help clean it up! I thought it was just in fun, but little did I know at the time, I was developing my passion for food and creativity. Thank you, grandpa! I’m honored to be a part of the River Commons community and look forward to many years of providing residents with delicious meals with a smiling face. -

Nothing is more satisfying than seeing the residents happy and finding a place to call home. -

Hello, I'm Jace Freitas the Marketing Director at River Commons, dedicated to guiding seniors through the transition to senior living. Redding is not just my hometown; it's where I grew up alongside my two brothers-we're actually triplets, which always brings a smile!

My career journey began in skilled nursing, where I embraced multiple roles before focusing on admissons/marketing and gaining experience in assisted living and memory care. Throughout, my focus has always been on serving seniors with dedication and compassion. Holding an RCFE License as an administrator shows my commitment to delivering exceptional support for older adults.

Returning to Redding from Siskiyou County and joining River Commons feels like a natural fit, allowing me to combine my passion for community involvement with my love for senior living. Whether I'm personally conducting tours or providing a warm voice over the phone, I am proud to be part of the River Commons family and to contribute to the dynamic Redding community! -
