At Campus Commons Senior Living, our chefs re-create family recipes using only the best local ingredients. California is a cornucopia of fresh, fabulous food, and we take every advantage to deliver wholesome, delicious menus every day. Residents enjoy two chef-prepared meals daily, served in our dining room.

Meet Chef Zsolt

Zsolt Erdelyi has worked in the hospitality industry for 31 years. He is passionate about bringing people together through food. Zsolt was born in Budapest, Hungary. He came to the U.S. as a young boy and lived in multiple cities in California. Zsolt owned his own bakery in Chico, CA. He worked 20 years for Sierra Nevada Brewing Company and several years at Butte Creek Country Club.

Outside of the kitchen, Zsolt enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Amy, their children, and granddaughter. They have a chocolate lab named Bella; she is a sweetheart. Zsolt and his wife enjoy traveling, exploring new restaurants and wineries. Chef Zsolt continues to pave a new path at Campus Commons as the Executive Chef and Director of Dining Services. He is excited to continue getting to know the residents and to continue to create memorable dining experiences for them and their loved ones.
