Something is always happening around Sac Town, whether it is a live music performance in Old Town or the annual Camellia Show at the Memorial Auditorium. Nearby California State University, Sacramento, is another rich resource for enrichment and entertainment alike. Sacramento’s central location makes it a convenient starting point for California adventure. Downtown Sac is just two hours or so from the Pacific Ocean or the Sierra Nevada Mountains, with endless possibilities in between. San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, and even Reno, Nevada, are an easy bus trip or car ride away.
