River City Food Bank
At the heart of our business is a love of people. We like to see people happy in our comfortable communities. Unfortunately,
however, we know that bad times can happen to good people. That’s why we’ve been actively involved in supporting human and
social services in Sacramento for our entire four decades of operation.
We’re especially involved in supporting River City Food Bank (RCFB), the only Sacramento-area food bank that is
open every weekday to serve anyone experiencing hunger, from anywhere in Sacramento County. RCFB offers nutritionally-balanced
3-day emergency food as well as shelter assistance.
You’ll find our team members in the kitchen at Empty Bowls, a fundraising soup luncheon that reminds us all of the many
empty bowls in our community. Or working on communications to help spread the word about the growing incidence of hunger in the
