Personalized Services with a Smile

Our residents are busy, independent adults who are used to running their lives – and often those of others. But sometimes, everyone needs a little help – without having to incur the costs of an expensive assisted living community, or getting nickel-and-dimed every time you ask for help.

That’s why we created "P.S.S."^SM – Personalized Service with a Smile for our "Commons" communities*. The goal of the P.S.S.^SM program is to help with whatever you need, even if you’ve never heard of an independent living community offering these thoughtful kinds of assistance.

Here’s some of the services that we will provide to residents upon request; availability varies by community and most services are without charge to you:

* Available at Campus Commons, Winding Commons, Hilltop Commons and Roseville Commons.
Castle Vista and Park Place do not provide P.S.S.^SM services.

Complimentary services*

"Handy man" chores

• Hang pictures
• Apartment home repairs
• Heating & air conditioning adjustment issues
• Community-coordinated Goodwill pickup days

Technical help

• Cable and phone service set-up/coordination
• Configure or adjust TV’s and computers
• Basic computer instruction (via the computer center)
• Wii game instruction (at the Wii game center)

Personal assistance

• Weekly grocery shopping service**
• Change and launder sheets (weekly)
• Walk your pet
• Coordinate personal transportation
• Assist with basic travel arrangements
• Wake up calls
• Set up newspaper delivery
• Provide change of address forms
• Pack boxes for shipping
• Weigh items to be mailed and sell postage stamps
• Make copies or fax documents
• Deliver packages to your apartment home
• Help carry heavy/bulky items

Fee-based services* available through outside independent providers

• Salon and spa services
• Medication management
• Bathing and dressing assistance

* Available at Campus Commons, Winding Commons, Hilltop Commons and Roseville Commons only.

** 10 item limit per resident per week, provided that cash and list is turned into the office by 4:00 p.m. the previous day.
