Son of a San Francisco mounted policeman, Ray Stone Jr. purchased his first parcel of land in Fair Oaks, CA, when he was 18 years of
age, and used two-thirds of his Army Private’s paycheck to make the monthly loan payment on the land. The company he founded in
1969, Ray Stone Incorporated, has developed a solid reputation for honesty, fair-dealing and reliability.
That reputation continues into the second generation of management, and the company’s commitment to senior communities in
Northern California. We’re not publicly traded, or headquartered thousands of miles away. We’re close enough to drop
in at our independent living communities, and talk to our team and residents about new ways to make life easier and happier.
